Belinda Lyons’ company provides accounting and tax services to owner managed small businesses and individuals. She also has over 30 years working and volunteering in Not for Profit organizations. She served over 10 years between the Practice Review and Professional Conduct Enquiry committees of CMABC and two years on the Investigation Committee of CPABC. She has lived on the North Shore since arriving in BC in 1980 as a single parent. Her keen interest in matters of affordable housing led her to A Place to Call Home Housing Society, which partnered with the YWCA to create homes for single mothers in the CentreView Project that completed in 2017. She enjoys spending time with family, her garden, political news, volunteering and (electric) biking.
